Frequently Asked Questions

billing & payments

  • Dues are charged on a 28-day billing cycle, not monthly. Your first charge occurs on your membership start date and includes your first month's dues, any enrollment fees, and applicable taxes. The exact dates are outlined in your Payment Schedule.

  • This is an annual fee charged once per year on the anniversary date of your membership start. The amount is listed in your agreement and is separate from your regular 28-day dues.

  • You're entitled to at least 10 days' notice before any charge. However, by signing the payment authorization, you've opted to only receive notice when the charge differs by more than $50 from your most recent payment.

  • Notify us promptly by email at info@upliftedathletics.com. You can also update your address or phone number at the same time.

  • Family: $50 off monthly dues if you share a home address with another active member (proof required). If any member in the group cancels, remaining members revert to standard pricing. Corporate: $50 off any membership if your employer is on our Corporate Partners list and you remain employed there. If employment ends or the corporate agreement is cancelled, pricing reverts to standard.

membership type & Auto-referral

  • Month-to-Month (M2M): No fixed commitment. Continues indefinitely until you cancel with proper notice. No early termination fee. Term: Locked into a fixed initial period. Cannot be cancelled early outside of qualifying reasons. After the initial term, it auto-renews as month-to-month unless you cancel in time.

  • If you do not cancel before the end of your initial term, your membership automatically rolls over to month-to-month (called "Evergreen Status"). Dues continue at the Evergreen rate listed in your agreement. You can cancel at any time from Evergreen with proper notice.

  • Send a cancellation email to info@upliftedathletics.com at least 5 business days before your next billing date. This applies whether you're ending a term or month-to-month membership. Your membership stays active through the end of your current billing cycle after notice is received.

Services & Sessions 

  • All sessions — 1-on-1 personal training, small group training, and youth programs — are 55 minutes in duration.

  • Small group sessions have a maximum of 4 members per coach. You receive the number of sessions outlined in your agreement (4, 8, 12, 16, or as specified) per 28-day billing period.

  • Yes. A parent or guardian must be present for drop-off and pick-up at every session. All parent/guardian names must be listed on the membership agreement. Youth 1-on-1 sessions are strictly a 1-coach-to-1-client ratio.

  • Nutrition counseling is personalized and based on 28-day periods. It requires an in-person consultation with a qualified coach. This service is not supervised by a registered dietitian or nutritionist. Members check in weekly via email or app. Typical results are generally seen in 8–12 weeks.

cancellation & Freezes

  • Yes. You have a 3-business-day rescission window from the date you signed. Cancel by emailing info@upliftedathletics.com or by written notice delivered in person or via certified mail. No penalties apply.

  • Death or permanent disability: Membership may be cancelled with a pro-rata refund for unused prepaid dues. Permanent disability must prevent all use of the facility and may require physician verification. Relocation: If you move more than 25 miles from your home club and we cannot transfer you to a comparable facility within 25 miles, you may cancel without penalty with a pro-rata refund.

  • Non-medical freeze: Available for up to 30 days. A $20 fee applies. Billing resumes automatically after 30 days. Medical freeze: Requires medical documentation including the expected return date. Billing and membership resume on the return date with no additional fee.

  • If your assigned trainer/coach can no longer train you, you have four options: (1) Transfer to another Uplifted Athletics trainer/coach. (2) Freeze your membership for up to 30 days. (3) Apply remaining prorated value toward other Uplifted Athletics services or products. (4) Cancel with a one-time buyout fee of 50% of the remaining balance.

  • If you properly rescind or cancel, your EFT/ACH draft will be stopped and no early termination penalty will be charged. Any refund owed will be issued within the time required by state law. Your membership stays active through the end of your current billing cycle even after notice is received.

General Policies

  • By entering Uplifted Athletics premises, you consent to the use of your image (or your minor child's image) on the gym's website and social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube — both live and recorded.

  • Uplifted Athletics is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property — including money, jewelry, or other valuables. Members and guests are strongly encouraged not to bring valuables onto the premises.

  • Disputes (excluding personal injury claims and small claims court matters) are handled in this order: (1) Informal discussion with management. (2) Non-binding mediation, costs split equally. (3) Binding arbitration under AAA Commercial Dispute Rules. Class-action or group claims are not permitted. You may opt out of this provision within 90 days of signing by sending written notice to the gym.
